My gripe with VFS globalanonymous07/13/26(Mon)04:47:28No.69a47137 11

As a resident of a specific country that cannot help itself but cause wars and doom for all of its citizens, we do not have many countries that we can travel to visa-free. This is troublesome for many reasons, but usually, it all gets resolved within several weeks because you just book a visit to the embassy and submit your documents.

For example, when I applied for a Japanese student visa, I didn't even have to book an appointment. I just came to the embassy, submitted my documents, waited 2 weeks, and claimed my passport. This was easy, and I would recommend their embassy in Moscow to anyone, since all the Japanese workers there are really friendly and genuinely helpful. (Extra credit goes to the Russian security guy, who actually helped me fill out some documents that I did not understand.)

This system does not apply to many countries, however. They heavily rely on outsourced visa application handling, especially through VFS Global. In my humble opinion, VFS Global holds a monopoly

Even though I completely hate blogs, I've decided to start this little thing that I will call "thoughts" or "opinions", where I will share my unfiltered opinions on certain things that concern me.

Being the Valve fan girl that I am, I found these posts rather amusing because they were written in such a nonsensical way that only a schizophrenic alcoholic could come up with them, not a billionaire running a company in the same industry.

It would be okay if he were the only person who believed his own nonsense. However, Epic fanboys are genuinely 12, so they cannot do their due diligence and check whether what he's saying is actually true. So, in this post I will explain (idk for who) certain points they keep making and give the benefit of the doubt to both sides.

This point is first on the list because it's genuinely insane
